With over two decades of experience with the KCPD, Chief Graves has risen through the ranks, breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes along the way.

Throughout her career, Chief Graves has demonstrated unwavering dedication to public service and a deep commitment to fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.

“Her leadership style is characterized by integrity, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others,” said Tye Grant, CEO of the Police Foundation of Kansas City. “We thank Chief Graves for everything she has done and continues to do for not only the department, but also for young females across this community who look up to her.”
