Rob Bratcher

Rob serves as President of Commerce Bank of Kansas City. Rob joined Commerce Bank in early 2012 as the Western Region Division Manager for Healthcare Banking. Beginning in 2014, Rob was promoted to serve as the head of Commercial Banking for the Kansas City Region and retains those responsibilities today along with the oversight of the bank’s Iowa Expansion Market.

Rob has spent 30 years in the financial services industries. Rob has experience in a variety of Commercial segments, which include Leverage Finance, Large Corporate and Middle Market banking, while developing specialty industry knowledge in Healthcare, Engineering, Construction and Employee-Owned Companies (ESOP).

Rob’s local community involvement includes serving on the board of directors and Co-Chair of KCADC. Professional Interest includes serving as a director of Commerce Bank’s Kansas City Advisory board and Chairman of the Oppenstein Brothers Foundation, a $40MM Charitable Foundation, providing grants to organizations in Kansas City that serve the most vulnerable in our community. Rob is a graduate of Kansas City Tomorrow (Class 30) and names a Next Gen leader by the Kansas Cirt Business Journal and a member of the Ingram’s 250. Rob is also an active member in the Kansas City Chapter of YPO.

Rob is a cum laude graduate of University of Missouri- Columbia with a BSSA in Finance and Real Estate from the Trulaske College of Business. Rob continues to support his alma mater as a member of the Davenport Society, Jefferson Club, and a past member on the Business school’s Finance Advisory Board.
